Privacy Policy

What we collect, what we do not, and how to reach us about it.

This page describes what The Sentinel Dispatch collects from readers and what we do with it.

What we collect

Standard server logs, which include IP address, browser type, and pages requested. These are retained for thirty days and used to diagnose problems and measure readership.

If you subscribe to a newsletter, we store the email address you gave us and nothing else.

What we do not do

We do not sell reader data. We do not run third-party advertising trackers. We do not attempt to identify individual readers from server logs.

Contacting a reporter securely

If you are considering sending us something sensitive, do not use your employer's network or devices. See our tips page for the options we support.
